Childcare ProgramThis is a licensed and accredited childcare program for children ages 2 - 6. Our program serves low-income families where all parents in the household must be working full-time or working part-time and in school part-time. We do allow a small percentage of our enrollment to be children of full-time students. Our fees are determined on a sliding scale based on family size and income. While providing care in our center costs about $205/week, most of our parents pay $40 - $45/week.Our program is licensed by the State of Indiana and accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Eligibility: Family must reside in Monroe County and parents must be employed full-time. Fees are based on income and family size, ranging from $40 to $185 per week. There is a discount for siblings to enroll. Breakfast, lunch and two snacks per day are included. Staff ratios meet or exceed state requirements. The Summer Camp places an emphasis on recreational activities. Applicant completes a simple form and interviews with social worker who determines eligibility for services. Clients are expected to participate in the solutions to their emergency situations and demonstrate progress if returning for additional services.
